Elegantly Perfect, “Little Black Dress”
Sadly I ordered this for my Husband’s funeral as he had terminal cancer. I followed the measurements and ordered XL. It took about 2 weeks to arrive, and was too big. I loved the fabric, and understated elegance, so I reordered in L. Again about 2 weeks delivery, but a perfect fit. It’s comfortable enough in spite of AC, I wore it all day for both the viewing & funeral Mass & gathering the next day and was neither too hot or cold. I’m 64 and wore it with a simple string of pearls and black heels. The slit is just high enough not to be too revealing and the V neck looked perfect with pearls. I hope you have a more festive reason, but this is the perfect, “Little Black Dress”.

 Looked AMAZING!
The picture does not give it justice. However, the material was soft, smooth, dense and some stretch (good quality). Great fit and shapes very well. I am about 160 lbs., 4'11" and ordered a large. The velvet buttons are the perfect accent to give it that classy look. I got many compliments on the dress as it was very flattering. It fit so well I think I am going to buy another color/design!

Beautiful Dress
This fabric is really nice. It’s dense and stretchy with just enough give. It is constructed very well with stitching, buttons, and zipper. It’s has small pockets that lie flat and do not add any extra width to the dress. This is a fantastic buy for $40. I am on the fence if I should exchange it for an XS. The one I purchased is size small and there’s plenty of room. I am 120lbs. 32D. 5’6”

Really elegant
I would not have expected to buy a dress for a wedding from Amazon, but I'm glad I found this one. Beautiful, classy, comfortable, and perfect for the "old aunt" at the wedding. If you want a dress that is a bit modest, this dress is perfect. My only complaint is that based on the sizing, medium was the right size. When I got the medium I felt like it was hanging on me. On a whim I ordered a small, and it was 100% perfect. I am 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs.

A new favorite.
I ordered this dress for a funeral, but having gained about 25 pounds in the past two years, I had nothing to wear. This dress was so flattering, fabric is thick, wrinkle resistant, and the pockets are great. I tend to carry weight in my hips and butt, am 5’4 and 150 pounds. The medium fit perfectly, with a little room for comfort. I had many compliments and it’s one of the few dresses that I really feel good in.

 It's magic
A number of reviewers talked about how flattering this dress is. Wow - they were right. I'm creeping up on my 70th birthday but look 30 in this dress. It has to be magic! Be sure to pay attention to the size chart, though, and not order your usual size. I'm a solid Large in general, but per the chart needed XXL. That's a bit of a pill to swallow, but glad I got over it. The fit is perfect. I'll just cut the size tag out so if I have to go to the emergency room while wearing this, no one will ever see. Ha ha!

Comfortable
My husband told me to send it back because of the looks of the neckline and weird inside out seams at the top, but I couldn’t resist the buttons and pockets.... So I held on it untill it was too late to send it back :) and put it on last weekend for the outdoor birthday party. I loved it! It felt very comfortable and fits my body well. The color is awesome too. Although in the sunlight I noticed that the buttons are different shade red than the dress itself. (Din’t see that in the artificial room light).

Lovely well-made dress
I rarely buy clothes on Amazon as there is such a wide dictomy of quality between the various sellers. However I saw this dress and decided to take a chance. It is lovely, it seems well made and while it will never be casual, it can be dressed up for a party or dressed appropriately for office wear...yes, I still wear dresses to the office!
