Amazing FIT and FEEL.
I’m 5’4 (36-32-42) 153 lbs. This dress feels amazing. Upon opening the package, as soon as I touched the dress I was amazed at the quality of the dress. Not thin, light and cheap. A nice substantial weight without feeling heavy at all. The quality makes this a $100 dress for sure. The fit is just as amazing. It is definitely TRUE TO SIZE. I am a solid 36-32-42. I went through reviews and it was hard to tell based on many not leaving their body dimensions with the size they chose. Saw someone with my slight dimensions and her fit looked very nice at a medium but a little too tight. I wanted a form fit without it looking too tight. So I risked just getting a Large based on suggested size chart to fit my waist and hit area if nothing else. . (I’m normally a medium in dresses)

I hoped for the best as I slipped it on and smiled the entire time. OMG. It fit like glove. Not too tight where it hugged unflattering areas too much. It was perfect. Fits form without looking like it fits too tight. To achieve this I suggest matching your measurements. The layers on stomach area fell perfectly and everything was still form fitting and flattering. Im still smiling guys.

TIP. Iron on LOW SETTING. Will upload pic soon.

The perfect all-occasion and figure forgiving dress. Yes! :)
This dress really is deserving of all the stellar reviews. It's the perfect all-occasion, figure forgiving, comfortable, yet chic and sexy little black dress that every woman needs in her closet! For reference, I am 5'8," 152 lbs and a 38C bra and I ordered this dress in black, size L. In most shirts I wear size medium and in most jeans I wear a 10L. I have a pretty traditional shape to my frame as far as being balanced proportions in shoulders/waist/hips/etc. However, I do have a bit of a tummy pooch at the moment (what can I say, crunches aren't my favorite pastime). This dress minimizes that waist issue quite beautifully as it's slightly gathered and tailored at the waist, but without being too tight or drawing undo attention to the area (plus you can never go wrong with figure flattering black). I ordered this dress in medium initially and while it technically did fit, it was a tad more snug than I liked, so I reordered it in large and that was absolutely perfect! The large still clung to my figure, but gave a little more breathing room and was not too big or loose by any means.

I love the length of this dress because at my height (5'8") often skirts and dresses don't go past my knees and this one does. I'm a little self conscious about my knees as my legs aren't in peak condition right now, so this dress covers them perfectly without being too long or cutting my frame in a visually awkward way. The fabric is nice and stretchy, but not thin or at all see-thru (in fact it feels quite high quality and sturdy, yet not overly thick/hot), so it is more forgiving on the figure, offers a little shaping support, and doesn't show every little flaw or "jiggle." Although I'd still recommend wearing some shape-wear underneath if you have a few imperfections you'd like to minimize.

On a side note, I tried wearing this with both a nude and a black sexy ankle strap heel and personally I think it looks sharpest with the black heels, but of course that's up to personal taste... just throwing it out there if you're shopping for a pair of shoes to go with it. :) All in all I could not be happier with this purchase, let alone the great price! Fantastic dress!

Ravishing, reasonably priced, right amount of stretch
I saw this dress on a Buzzfeed list and was blown away by all the positive reviews so when I needed a dress for our anniversary dinner, I went to my Wish List and bought it.  Best decision I could have made!  It arrived quicker than expected. The dress is a beautiful color and is made of a thick fabric with just the right amount of stretch.  It held me together but was not constricting after our lovely steak dinner.  The dress is not see-through [at least not in the merlot color] as I wore black undergarments and they were not visible at all.  I did have to steam it twice to get the wrinkles out but it was otherwise absolutely perfect!  [Note: Flipped bottom hem was a fluke I missed before taking the pic. It laid normal once I flipped it back down.] This dress wowed my hubby and I expect it to wow at future events to come.  I am considering buying in a few more colors as the need arises.  If you are on the fence, BUY IT as it is worth every penny and more at this price point!

I am 4'11", 135lbs, 32DD, with a short torso and I purchased a small.  It was a bit longer than I expected, going down past my knee [because I'm fun-sized], but a simple trip to the seamstress will take care of that although the dress really is stunning just the way it is so I may leave it.

Retro & comfortable
This dress is super sexy & form fitting, perfect for an office type situation with some pearls and heels. I’d throw a jacket over it perhaps because it could distract. Unless that’s part of your strategy. Hashtagdefenselawyers.
Chocolate brown is neutral enough that you could color it up with some turquoise heels or nude ones with a colorful faux silk neck scarf.
In a pinch I suppose it could work for a party but I see it as more business than pleasure. As long as your business is indoors today. This wouldn’t really work on a site visit or with work boots. I like that despite it being sexy it’s also not very low cut which is awesome for us girls with the DDs. Enough shown without trying. And that it’s down to the knees or slightly below, not showing the knees, yet cut a bit in the fabric on the back which makes walking fast & comfortably totally doable. I’m not doing a yoga class in this dress which is usually a requirement for my business attire, but it’s comfortable enough that I feel hugged, held and professional without feeling restricted or having anything “dig in.” This is why dresses are > than suits every.single.day. I’ll be honest it was a bit hard to zip and I thought “sh - ! - should I have gotten a medium?” No. Small is right for 5’3, 130, curvy athletic, 28 in waist and 32DD. Don’t ask me what my hips are but I wear size 4. Maybe 36 or so? The top IS roomy, again a GOOD thing for if you have breasts. I also have somewhat narrow ish shoulders and didn’t feel anything was dropping or drooping or falling out. The cut is cool. Unusual. Unique. Therefore I’d say this is true to size, and there is room to stretch a little. It is reminiscent of the fifties. I was born in the seventies so I don’t really know but from what I can tell it’s pretty retro. Retro works in the Professional office setting as long as it’s not gaudy or overdone. this is Not lined, either, thank goodness. Lined clothes are so restrictive. I’m one of those “highly sensitive” body types who cannot wear things that cut into my skin and I need stretchy soft fabrics that hug comfortably. yoga pants in court don’t cut it though, sad enough. This works well enough that I might consider a second color. Emerald green maybe if that’s an option.

Lovely dress. Great wardrobe staple for any1. Sizing slightly "tricky" for my body.
I ordered multiple colors of this dress (Kelly Green, Olive, Coral color, etc.,...). They all appear to be just as lovely & vivid as shown in the product photos. For the Camel color (originally my favorite), it turned out to have a slightly pinkish? hue. Not sure how to describe it. Yet, I was looking for more of a true, richer camel color with more yellow undertones. Still a beautiful color, nevertheless.

Loved the poly spandex fabric. (Disclaimer: This is that stretchy polyester fabric found in bargain dresses at discount store chains. It is quite stiff, "loud", and can be unforgiving in revealing bulges of excess fat. Just sayin'. But, I'm weird and oddly **prefer** and seek out this fabric. For me, it acts as inexpensive shapewear in itself. ) Is thick enough to help you feel "contained". perfectly functional, smooth invisible zipper. Dress construction seems great, especially for such a relatively affordable price. Dress is **unlined**. Any thick shapewear will likely show thru as indentations.

Sizing: [I'm 5'1" , 110lbs, lately wearing Dpt store sizes 2 & 4, whereas @ my normal weight I'd wear a Sz 0). My current disproportionate measurements don't mesh well with this dress (not the dress' fault!). I have a short torso, currently a boxy waist :( approx 28" ?, & am very bottom heavy at the moment. I wanted a tailored, yet not body-con/overly fitted look for this dress. Wasn't sure of what size to order; Therefore, I ordered a range of sizes Small thru Large in the desired colors to find the best fit. The Medium had enough room to accommodate my bottom (large was the least "revealing"), yet my extra belly fat & love handles were accentuated by the Medium's waist, and my 30D smaller bust size left a bit of a void at the bust of the Medium= I couldn't fill it out adequately. The size small was tooo fitted for my liking and the size large would need tailoring to nip in the wider parts. Dress is long on my short height (well below my knees), but I wanted it to be long.

>>>>>>Recommendations: if you desire a body-con, fitted look = perfect for sum1 who has an hourglass figure. If you desire a more conservative-esque, less form-fitting look (even for non-corp Office attire, if the neckline isnt an issue) = perfect for sum1 with average bust size, an average yet toned waist, and slender/toned thighs & buttocks.<<<<<<<

Potential Issues: May not be ideal for "skinny" builds, as It seems designed & even molded (in terms of fabric, cut, etc.,..) to fit a moderately, slightly curvaceous woman. I.e. The shirring/pleating around the waistline naturally creates a curve at the abdominal region. This may appear unkempt on a skinnier frame & may draw unwanted, unflattering attention to the belly of others with an already protruded gut. Shoulders seem slightly wide.

Ultimately, I returned the dresses (before purchasing, I made certain that Free Returns were an option, since I was unsure of the sizing for my desired fit & my newfound expanded proportions. lol). I was too conflicted about my proper size & already had to return another unrelated item from the same shipment.

I 100% recommend the dress (& seller). Only recommendation: Seems that $24.99 would be a better price, fair for the consumer, while still likely allowing a profit for the vendor. Yet, at the current price, for the desirable retro style & color selection, it's still a fabulous score!.
