The dress is made well and looks elegant. I am 5’4 36 DD and weigh 175lbs. I ordered a size 6 and looks and feels great ! Of course , it’s snugged to my body but that’s how I prefer . If you are 170lbs + and like some room than an 8 would work . I ordered both colors and love them . The length is right above my knee . I’ll try to post pictures soon .

I wore it to a memorial service, but it’s so versatile you could wear it to the office or dress it up with fancy heels and jewelry for a wedding.
